It's a very sereal and exciting experience when you get to hear yourself on the radio!
What would you do?
What would you do if you were driving down the road, diggin' the tunes on the radio when all of a sudden, you hear yourself? Man! I think I squealed like a piglet being picked up!
I had a hard time comprehending the fact that my voice was being generated by the stereo speakers and not by me...my voice was coming at me not from me....tripped me out! I was pretty stoked after hearing my song not only because it was on the radio but because it was on SiriusXM!!!!! I almost couldn't contain myself! I felt like that little girl looking for a pat on the head and a good job, proud of you, quote from my parents...although, there are another province away. Needless to say, I was feeling pretty happy and blown away that both Canadians and Americans will get to hear my music!
I must admit I was pretty stoked after hearing my song! I almost couldn't contain myself! I felt like that little girl looking for a pat on the head and a good job, proud of you, quote from my parents...although, there are another province away, so yeah, like that was going to happen but needless to say, I was feeling pretty happy!
I was pretty nervous when I was anticipating my first radio interview with Tim Garmon of Country Tunes Radio www.countrytunesradio.com ...I had no idea what to expect...that anxiety helped me lose a few pounds lol...However, Tim was so kind and easy to talk to. I'm so glad he was my first radio interview!
I think if you click the picture below it will take you to the radio interview itself!
Talk about distracted driving! My radio interview I had with Cal Gendron of 105 CJVR - Today's Best Country and XM 105 FM & Canadian Coast To Coast which is presented by Melody Motors and The Eagle River Casino was in my truck! I have very bad cell reception where I live...in a tiny hamlet of 150 people...so, I had to drive towards town before I could get enough signal strength to have a radio interview over the phone. I drove past the elementary school by a few miles and gazed upon the bright yellow canola fields in full bloom as I pulled over to have the call with Cal.
While we were chatting you can hear some odd traffic pass me by grumbling in the background.
I will say that the hands free option and talking to Cal in my truck was actually kinda cool...his voice filled my whole truck up! Was awesome! Thanks for the great radio interview Cal!
I do have to thank everyone involved
There are so many incredible people who have inspired me, guided me, and developed me along the way. I am truly blessed to have everyone near and far, related and unrelated in my life.
I'm truly thankful.
